Shihlin (吉林) - Taiwan Street Snacks

2 weeks ago Friday, after everything was settled in campus, Grace and I went to town craving for good food. Actually I wanted to go central to get ticket and Grace wanted to go buy pineapple tart, and both wanted to go for good food.

On the way she asked me wanna eat what, we went turning round and round in our head thinking, when suddenly she talk about 'MeeSua' . Then I again have the crazy thought on 'Shihlin' Singapore and my saliva went drooping, and she just give me a kick and said 'Dataran Pahlawan' has it.

My mouth went opened and could not close, on the wheel I drove 140km/h to go DP, with my mouth still open (please don't imagine that), and she was clinging on the handle on top. By the time we reached DP, white bubbles are all over her mouth and she almost passed out. (Above is just an excessive illustration =p).

There and there, I present to you, the first and only one 'Shihlin' in Malacca.

We ordered two bows of 'MeeSua', and one pack of 'Spicy Crispy Chicken'. No doubt, this is still the best 'MeeSua' that is on my mind after missing and craving it for so long.

With 3 huge oyster; never over done (still soft soft), minced chicken meat, and the Chinese parsley. It's the perfect combination for 'MeeSua'. But the perfect combination is not perfect until you ordered the 'Spicy Crispy Chicken'. I was too obsessed with the food there and I forgotten to snap pictures of the naked golden skinned chicken. It was kind of weird compare to Singapore because the chicken supposed to be cut into smaller pieces and served with the spices, here in Malacca they served in one whole piece without cutting it. However, it is still very nice! =D

- Opposite STARBUCKS. When you are standing in front of STARBUCKS, DP (the door facing the indoor fountain area), and it is just across where you're standing.
