Back to Ipoh, day 2!

[Trying to fit a full Tuesday into this single post, *Caution! Heavy picture post! please wait patiently for pictures to load.]

Day 2:
LUNCH at Menglembu
Knowing that my school PBSM mate is around in Ipoh for holiday, quickly I drag him along to go lunch at a place near him, Menglembu.
What's so special about this place?

See the red chicken there? It's just part of it!

They are famous for 猪肠粉 (zhu chang fen). Normally you won't see me eating curry, plus 猪肠粉 (zhu chang fen) can go as simple as just Oil and Soy Sauce, but, Ipoh curry is not spicy!

This is the SHOW! This can fight side by side with Malacca, Lot 85 - Ayam Kunyit.

Photo shooting at Gunung Lang

After Lunch, I went home for a short rest before heading off to this designed place on my mind. This time I'm smarter already, because for many time when I wanted to go, I also miss a junction and could not turn back, this time I double check with Google!

Behold! Gunung Lang, the place where Yasmin Ahmad shot the movie, SEPET.

The surrounding was very nice, but because the weather is a little cloudy, the outcome of the picture is not too perfect, but acceptable. I reach Gunung Lang around 5pm, took a boat to cross the lake, do all my shooting, and come back to the starting point around 6.30pm.

I manage to find the spot where they shot SEPET, but the problem is, it is block by a boat, and have many thing there to block a good click. But I found another spot to replace the original, and made mine special.

But there is a single problem. This picture missing a someone, someone to sit beside me to complete the picture. The next time I'm there, I will make sure I'm not alone in the picture!

All credits goes to my Tripod, if I forgot to bring it back, I won't be having so many nice shot. Plus I manage to work on my personal project at this place, once it's complete, I'll announce it.

Dinner at Sushi East

Never in my entire life know that Ipoh garden east have so many Japanese Restaurant. Not that Ipoh has no good food at night, but since my another school PBSM mate and I suppose to meet at this area, so we decided to go try around this area, and he recommended me to try this place.

Surprisedly, this place rock! The restaurant name is Sushi East, located at Ipoh Garden East same role with the now famous Barroom and Friends Cafe.

I ordered the Salmon Donburi for main dish. I was surprise that this dish tasted so nice! even though the portion is small, but reasonable and it's enough for me. 5 pieces of Salmon, each is very fresh, I feel like eating Sashimi at the same time! Rock!

And many time when you see the menu, the picture is different from the outcome. Another surprise I had tonight is, this plate of Soft Shelf Crab, looks the same in term of sizes and the way they decorate the dish. 10/10 and 4 thumbs up from me for this dish!

This is what I had for Day 2. Today is Day 3, and since it's Sabbath, I shall rest. So, not much about Day 3.

Nevertheless, After early morning Church, I wanted to go to this Famous 客家面 (Hakka Mee) place, but because it is too crowded, I skip this place and went over for 牙菜鸡 (Ya Choi Gai). Not 老黄 (lou wong), but the one next to it, 安记 - (Ann Kee). Trust me, 老黄 (lou wong) is not as good as it's name used to be anymore, go to 安记 - (Ann Kee)!

Tomorrow Day4, might be going Sitiawan. Stay Tune!
